Data Fortress Group (DFG), incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, has shares listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, NASDAQ OTC Bulletin Board in the United States and on the third segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.  

The Data Fortress Group provides a suite of services such as co-location services, data warehousing, data security, high-speed internet connectivity on our metropolitan area networks, data storage services, co-location and managed services to our clients. Data Fortress Technologies purchased its own redundant 3.2-kilometer fiber optic ring in the financial district of downtown Vancouver. This ring connects our data center directly to the Internet backbone.

DFG has grown out of a combination of companies that collectively provide synergistic business opportunities by allowing the core infrastructure to support the group in most operational expenses. This structure facilitates greater cross-selling opportunities, minimizes overhead, and allows greater visibility in the business community for each operation. The most recent addition has been IPFlix Inc. Launched in November 2004, IPFlix will focus on streaming media content delivery through the Internet. IPFlix provides targeted live television content from Korea, China, Philippines and South Africa to expatriates living outside of their native countries. The Data Fortress Group currently has a 7-year contract with Simon Fraser University to manage 1100 residences. The ResNet project provides students with; a dedicated private network with 100Mbps, Internet access, dedicated mail servers, DNS, and proxy services private to the University, as well as Campus Intranet and web space.
