Data Fortress is a Service & Network Application Provider (SNAP). The Data Fortress SNAP model entails the company building and deploying high-end network connectivity to medium and large enterprises, combined with selling services and applications over the internet. The majority of our products are billed on a recurring monthly basis giving the company the ability to sell once and bill regularly on a per client basis and retain long-term relationships and predictable cash flow.

Data Fortress provides a suite of services such as high-speed networking, data warehousing, data security, metropolitan area networks, Internet connectivity, remote data storage, streaming servers, co-location and managed services to a range of clients. Data Fortress owns a redundant 3.2-kilometer fibre optic ring in the financial district of downtown Vancouver and has connected several anchor tenants in high-density office buildings to its network.

In January 2001, the Company became one of the first companies of its kind in the Vancouver market to operate a premier collocation data center and data storage facility to provide its customers with a secure environment. In October 2001, the Company completed the installation of a redundant 3.2-kilometer fiber optic cable ring within the downtown core of Vancouver. This fiber optic ring connects DFTG's data centre to the Internet backbone at Harbour Centre. Having its own downtown fiber optic data loop is a significant competitive advantage and creates immediate ancillary business opportunities for the Company, which is well positioned to become a market leader in providing Network Services.
